Got my Classic back after it spent 2 weeks with a friend.
Replaced the Steering box and fitted the scorpion exhaust which he had to mod the Y piece so its pretty much now a one off with all wiring re routed to avoid the manifolds etc... all properly fitted stainless everything and waxoyl re-applied where needed.

Next job is to change out the rear arms from the solid ones to the tube ones & all the bushes

I want to replace with a Poly bush kit I have seen the yellow kit from **itpart for about £88 delivered... else its up to £150 for either the red (performance) blue (comfort) or (orange) dynamic.

Just want to get an idea of what difference they will make if anyone done these on a classic and also any ideas on price to pay where to get them from and whether to go comfort, dynamic or performance....

Anyone got any advice ???
 
I would suggest OEM...the poly's are great, but can offer a harsh ride (even from the comfort set), yes they last a little longer then OEM, but that is because they are stiffer and can ruin the ride quality.
 
Most if not all the bushes on my 98 300tdi disco are probably the ones fitted in the factory. I have a pretty extensive service history with no mention of any been changed.. I doubt very much if a set of poly bushes will last that long??

Naaah Saint poly bushes will wear a lot quicker than OEM will.
 
avoid britpart yellows..they ARE like rock...

i have fitted poly bush oranges to both mine..4 door is 8 yrs old now and all are a1..2 door is younger...i would go for orange or blue...again avoid red as hard as rock..comp use only..

now the reason to go poly bush over oem is ease of fitting...no press required, old oem bushes can be cut out (or burnt out if have access to gas)

there is also a reason why some are more expensive than others..
