Hi all,
I’m currently restoring a 1994 classic. It was not started for a period of 2 years while welding was carried out. In July this year it was put back together mechanically. However, the original fuel pump had failed. This was replaced in August with a new one. Come November, this pump had failed. It was replaced 2 weeks ago. Now my 2nd new pump also appears to have failed.
I haven’t had a chance to test the pump properly yet, but is there anything that could cause the fuel pumps to fail like this? The last two had dead motors when 12v was applied directly to them.
Thanks
