Has anyone ever modified the RRC air intake from that long steel tube thing... ??
Mine has a K&N in it (Red colour). My MAF which I checked out a few weeks back is very clean and clear of stuff, used some Isopropyl to help give it a clean out.
Currently I am having a NEW steering box which has done 0 miles fitted as mine was apparently 'well dodgy' according to my mate who is sorting it.
He is also putting a full stainless exhaust on it so I can remove the Disco V8 one currently fitted and he is changing cross member etc... to make it fit properly and re-routing cables as he liks jobs done the right way.
He really wants to get some more air getting in there and is talking about modding the intake, I have read few dare to tinker with it unless Snorkel going on... And getting real good cold air takes some effort as I found out when I did my MG ZT a while back.
Anyone made a difference to the air intake... mine is a 1990 3.9 V8 with NO LPG and pretty std.
