Hi, first time asking questions on this forum, my previous encounters have been with the fl1 and fl2's, so decided that I needed a winter project 😳 I have purchased a RR sport 2007 2.7, and I am slowly working my way through the problems, I have water in the passenger footwell caused by the drain pipe failing apart, I am after the id and od of the pipe as I am going to run the new pipe outside of the connection point so the replacement pipe won't be long enough 😁

I want to replace the original drain tubes with longer pipes, I want to check the id and od of the original pipe to make sure I order the correct size

I recently did this to my d3, it was the same pipe as yours the one behind the fuse board, real arse to get out and back together.
I used some stiff nylon pipe to extend the original rubber drain pipe, the nylon pipe fitted neatly through the original grommet hole, think the nylon was 10mm outside diameter, which was a nice fit inside the original rubber pipe.
I cut the nylon to length then heated it so it had a permanent kink then cooled with water to keep the kink, so it would sit/fit nicely behind the board and run neatly out through the skin.
 
Yes, I managed to run some 6mm air pipe from the outside vent up to the top of the dash, so hopefully use that to pull the new pipe through and leave it outside the "skin" so that it doesn't leak again

I wish I had done it that way, as it was a real sod putting the fuse board plugs back in!
