Hi,

i have noticed a strange noise when starting from cold, it sounds like a possible aux belt / tensioner noise. its lasts for around 3-5 minutes.

It’s a 3.0 sdv6 50k mileage rr sport

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate that!

Possible extra strain on the alternator belt with the cold weather.

Does it have a fuel burning heater fitted?
Will operate with the low temperatures we have been experiencing in the UK.
