Sorry - Not Classic - P38 - 1998

Range Rover P38 4.0 V8 Automatic, Autobiography Decals

I won't bore you with how much I love this car, if you've ever owned one you'll understand. Typically I have just replaced the:

EAS PUMP (full working order)
Two Brand New Front Tyres (with 12 miles wear!)
Track Rod End
Drop Link Arm
Steering Damper
New Front Discs and Pads
Wheels refurbed last year for £400 and look stunning
New Headliner, but I used the wrong glue so its started to sag again.
I have bought the right stuff and is included in car

Whilst driving to get an MOT (You couldn't make it up) the engine seized, it started to loose power and I believe there was a knock from the bottom end it then stopped dead. Prior to this I used it ever day for work and it was a real pleasure.
I haven't got the time or money to go any further with this.
For a mechanic or someone who wants to sell it off piece mill, it's ideal.
In my opinion the body is too good to break up but that would be for you to decide. Basically the Mrs wants it off the drive! It will need towing.

Any Questions do not hesitate to ask
Any viewing welcome - North Kent Area
£1500 ono.

Having bought a P38 off this very forum, with tax mot and running for £450 as no one else wanted it...

£1500 is a bit of an ask aint it?

Yes, I accept that it is a bit high. It is actually my son's car which I used for traveling to and from work.
He has spent an awful lot of money on it and I think he was hoping for an enthusiast to spot it and make him an offer, which he knows will be a lot less than his asking price.

I guess it will be sitting on the drive for a bit longer..........

I'm looking for one of these. And have seen this on eBay. However it seems way overpriced. I'm off to look at 4.0 autobiography that runs for 1400 tomorrow

Your link doesn't actually take you to the RR on ebay, but I presume you are referring to mine? I did kind of explain the reason for the "overprice" above and stated that my son does not expect to be offered anywhere near the asking price. But you never know with ebay - All sorts on there!
