Hi, basically I just got a RR p38 i believe and there is this noise the feels like car moving ( like generator sound) I am Thinkings it's the air suspension but it goes up and down sometimes needs a alittle time.. I don't like the noise and no signs have come up on the dash... Please help what could that be!!!????

It seems like everywhere I stop it's making that noise seems to me it's correcting it's suspension and also when driving... But that noise OMG is annoying what could it be and can anyone advice any place in london that does for cheap...

Also any meets so that I can speak to other RR drivers to find out...

If the car is moving up and down that may be the air compressor working but that is hardly noisy ... It may just be the Diesel Engine - which is considerably louder if you are used to normal sized petrol saloons ...

Does the suspension rise and lower properly when using the switches on the dash to go to access and off-road height?

Compressor can sound like a jack hammer if it has broken away from it's mounts. If car is going up and down and compressor is running all the time you have a leak. If compressors not knackered now it soon will be. Get it sorted, look for and fix leaks.

Easy to check on the nearside of the engine bay , the top comes off revealing the compressor and other gubins, check the 3 mounts are nipped up but not too tight, worse come to worse, ... New compressor unit .. £137+V from island 4x4 ... Check it out first .... Good luck.
