Hi
I have a freelander 3 Doors 1.8k Petrol 18k4F, year 1999. I have ordered a replacement for the inlet manifold, label rover "
NEW ROVER 25/45/75 1.4/1.6/1.8 16V INLET MANIFOLD 1999>2005" from the UK.Now, the mechanic is getting some problem upon replacing it, said that the he had to migrate the old injectors onto the new ones as the old pins are smaller than the new one, He did so for the stepper motor, connections being different, and the main problem is that there is a green switch (control Air Flow) located below on the previous which is not present on the new one located on top.
Anyone got an idea whether we can do something about it? I am from Mauritius and took me almost 1.5 months for sea freight and unable to return/exchange.
I have previously replace the engine as well having had 3 HGFs. Just love this machine and really want to make it run.

Thanx for help.

Confusing reference to injectors? If the new manifold is not the same as the old one, then clearly it is not going to work unless easily modified. Not familiar with Rover variant - Sorry cant be more helpful.

Hi
Just for anyone who encounter this problem. I replaced switch my old injectors into the new manifold, drilled a hole for the IAT green switch to go in, and got it fitted. Seems to be working fine so far. Just left the map sensor switch as it is as seems to be already integrated.
