Sunday only, drive event. Last one this year, it's going to be muddy. Excellent site, something for everyone..

Look on Burnham Off Roaders site for details

I'll be there.

I've got 5 motors coming to this now, looking forward to it as I do like this site

Come and say hello for sure. What are you driving so I can look out for you? Mine is as per my avatar. It should be a epic day out.

Haha thanks for that, shame I didn't get chance to have a proper chat with you. That water was bloody cold

Still it's all running again now and that's the last time I let dad drive
Any chance you could email me pics across?

I think all my mates enjoyed it despite all the breakages we had, will definitely be at the next one but will try and keep the tyres in contact with the floor

How long did it take you to get out from that as I assume your heads were under water?

a few seconds to get out just glad we had series doors with no tops on and we hadnt put seatbelts on

its given us a few things to think about like keeping everything in the centre cubby as we lost 2 phones in the mire and attaching the cut off key to a piece of string as that went for a swim also once i killed the engine

I was just about to drive that section, which I've done many times. Making me seriously think bout moving forward my schedule for fitting of a roll cage to mine, along with drop down aircraft style oxygen.

Lockable cubby would be a good idea.

My phone was in the lockable cubby but dad was meant to be on call for work hence leaving them on the dash, we too have driven that part hundreds of times but just picked the wrong line through complacency and this happened....oh well that's what it was built for

After the roll the cage and removable door tops are by far the best mods on the truck, if you plan on a cage do it as soon as u can afford to

Being a Series, mine already has the removable door tops, but it does get a bit chilly driving in winter without them fitted.

Mine could do with a new chassis at some point, question is whether to buy another Series with a galvanised chassis and 200tdi already fitted and swap all of the trick bits over from mine or to start from scratch with a new chassis. Buying one already done is by far the cheapest option as well as the time involved in fitting a new chassis. Once I've made up my mind which way to go, I'll fit a cage, no point fitting one at present to mine as it is.
