Just got my first Landrover (a slightly battered freelander) and would like to have a go at Green laning. I live in Somerset and have read that Dursdon drove may be a good. Anyone been down here and is it suitable for a noobie rookie.:dnfnoob:

Google it and it come up with a you tube vid, looks rutted in places. If in doubt get out and walk it or take some one along for a tow

Might be an idea to wait until its a little bit drier, so as not to do a lot of ground damage and upset walkers etc. ;)

Drove it three weeks ago in a Fender. It was wet and slippy then so can only imagine it's worse now. As previous have said walk and difficult bits first, and if in doubt turn around.
