Can anyone give me some suggestions for routing power to the roof for high level lamps without compromising roof leaks etc.
Could i run the wires through the stock rails, bringing them out through the crossbar pin holes?

any other ideas?

I just drilled a hole in the roof and ran wire though and filled with silicone lots and lots, havent had any problems with water

I ran power from relay in driver footwell out through door power gromit into cavity between door and wing up to windscreen wer wire was pushed under and hidden up the windscreen plastic trim to the gutter, tucked up behind the gutter and up the inside the roof bar. The perfect crime.)

just drill the roof and fit a compression gland, thats what ive done on both my 90`s never had a problem.
Running cables through door gaps is a short waiting to happen in my opinion

into engine bay up the back of the snorkel or pushed into the lip on the screen seal and black silicone to hide em. you can feed em inside the bonnet rubber seals to stop em from chafing on owt.

or as topcat said either proper leccy gland fitting. or 8mm pushfit tubing and a pushift tank connector. fitted to a drilled hole in the roof. feed the wires thru the tubing and shove the tube into the fitting.
