Hi all, I'm looking to buy a roof box for my TD4, does anyone know if there is a maximum width, my freelander bars are approx 107cm wide, will most boxes support these or is there a maximum length and width I should be looking for ?

the box should be fine, get a thule one, usually found on offer at halfords

you'll find the fittings make them very adjustable, and thule are about the best i've seen

i have fitted the longest one that halfords do as i do a lot of pig shooting in my spare time,when i,m on your planet earth,never had a problem ,but s pose its what weight your gonna put in it worth checking your model to find out,its in ya hand book. . .ming
