ok looking for a rare part landrover parts say that it is obsolete. I am looking for a 2b forward control rim ideally 2 but 1 would be ok for now anyone want to sell me a couple or know where to source them? They have a greater offset than wolfs and modulars and 130 rims i can get plenty of 130 rims but having a hard time with 2b ones Jai

why cant yu remove the centre from the rim and have them rewelded with a greater offset - its a common fix - but has to be done with the centre square or else the wheel wobbles like fook.

thats my last option but if I was to do it myself and by some coincidence I had an accident you guys and most people would be slagging off the work calling me a Gresham. Now im not against gresham totally but thats a whole other thing Jai

They used the same rim on 1 ton bonneted control , in case you see one . mind you they are rare as well . Try asking on AULRO forum as there were quite a few FC that went to OZ , I had three when I lived there. I have six FC rims on my 110 which I intend to change to 8"x 16" but not quite yet. HTSH

A couple of years ago I bought a set of what I thought were standard LWB rims from a local Land-Rover specialist. When I got them home it turned out that I'd accidentally picked up a 2a or 2b forward control rim with the set. It's a long shot, but he might still have it. It was in excellent condition. His number is 01239 710579.
