Which way up is the rocker shaft installed, I didn’t realise there was a difference when I took off the rockers but the oil holes on one side of the shaft have a rectangular indent whereas the other side are plain holes.
Does the rocker go over the indented hole or the plain one. Many thanks

Any help?

Kermit-rr it doesn’t spin, 5 bolts hold it in place but thanks all the same

Lynall, yes I looked at that last night but it doesn’t show enough detail, thanks anyway.

3 of the securing holes are larger on the side that locates on the dowels

These are the oil holes on one side of the shaft, and the oil holes on the other side of the shaft and I don’t know which way up it goes

Well You we’re both in the right direction, I didn’t notice it until I had looked at it about 3 times but on the five fixing holes, one of them ( the one that the dowel goes into) was bigger on the underside than all the others so there was only one way it could have gone on. Thanks for all your help, next time I will think it out a bit more before shouting “help”.
