I'm going to do the rocker cover gasket on my 94, 300 TDI.
What make of gasket should I use, I've been quoted £15+ vat for a genuine + £4 for the bolt seals, by our local LR supplier.
I can also get a set off eBay for around £7.
Any preferences to what makes are good and ones to avoid.
Thanks
Sorry if I've already asked this, but the heat is getting to me.

19 quid for a genuine one and the half moons for my 200tdi. The only one that didn't leak after a few months. Elring one in the top head gasket set leaked too.

That's what I was thinking, I'll go and get it.
Thanks for the response

I prefer the Fel-Pro VS50789R valve cover gaskets. Great fit and seal for my Thor V8 though they fit a Gems also.

I've fitted the genuine gasket and noticed it's got a weep at the rear of the cover.
The old gasket was leaking around quite a bit of the cover and made quite a mess, so it's now a lot better.
I haven't put any sealant on the gasket, but I will try a bit.
