hi everybody has anybody had any trouble with a richards chassis seem when things are going back on they don't seem to line up ?

What is your configuration (wheelbase, engine, gbox, etc) and what chassis did you buy?

I recently had to decide between Richards or Marsland and went Marsland for no particular reason really, but I do recall Richards build from thicker steel and I gather as a result the chassis can be heavier.

I had a huge panic when my Richards 90 chassis was about 2cm too narrow for the bulkhead, gave them a call, apparently many are like this as they move when Galving, spread the chassis with a jack and Presto! all was well......

Yep galvin will bend just about anything,i think it is something like 450c temperature. When we make something at work that is going for galvin you can guarantee it will not come back straight.

Had a few small issues with mine, but I think that was down to the galv process. When I bought mine they had just changed galvanising companies or something.

Overall I'm chuffed and would definitely use them again. :D
