Hello,

The tilt mechanism broke on my '01 P38 and I ordered a new RH side guide rail. I've removed the glass portion and the broken piece but rather replace the broken piece I'm thinking of just replacing the entire guide since no one sells just the piece.

Hence, can the guide rail be removed without taking out the headliner and the entire sunroof cassette?

The dealer says yes but after checking RAVE nowhere does it even explain the removal procedure for just the guide rail.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Guess nobody has had this problem, more pressing thing like EAS, Gearbox's etc etc. best of luck at least you are first post for a while. You may get a response
