Hi all, just purchased a 97 Disco V8i, and put it on LPG and replaced the accelerator cable, and what's happening now is that the revs are dropping out when coming to a hault, nothing happens when reving(it just comes down to 750rpm where it should be), but when slowing down at the lights for example, the needle drops below to about 200-500 rpm (almost stalling) and then comes up to where it should be around 750rpm, what the guys are telling me is that it is the Air Flow Meter and it needs to be replaced. Just need a second opinion please.

Well, it could be the air flow meter (MAF) causing the trouble. Try to borrow one from another vehicle and see what happens.

disconect the plug that is connected to it and go for a drive. that is what i did to my disco2 i just unpluged it and it fine.
