It’s a good review, the vehicle looks great.

However it’s quite expensive at over £40,000 starting price, although that’s in keeping with the rival Jeep Wrangler prices.

There’s a lot of tech in the vehicle and again that’s what people want these days. I can’t see these lasting a lifetime like a Defender. But again, those days are gone, people replace their vehicle every three years on PCP’s and generally don’t get attached to them any more.

The last two paragraphs of the review sum it up very well, and in that area Land Rover has a winner on its hands, which in car manufacturers terms is a great success.

As someone who learnt to drive in military series 2's it is hugely complicated in comparisome, of course, but I do quite like it. If money was no object I might even have one. Should think it will be a winner in the US of A.

It will probably be reliable for 10-15 years and then risk being a money pit like old Discovery 3’s

That will be fine for most owners, who will be four cars down the line when the Defender they got new on PCP is fifteen years old.
It will be long forgotten by that first owner but could still be a good buy at that age if you get a good one.
Again, like the Discovery 3.
