You can but as always there is always the risk of cracking the paint when folding the skin back over the frame and so it all starts over again, I wouldn't bother if I'm honest, I'd probably go down the road of using 0.9mm sheet steel and spotting that to the frame and then getting it hot dipped, T-washed, high build primer, flatted, primed, flatted and then a top coat to make it look fabulous.
