In another thread I have been having issues with my LPG system on my L322 v8. It transpires that the engine warning light will flash if the gas is trying to change over from petrol too early, maybe a temperature issue.
This has of late not been too much of a problem as I just start on a morning on petrol and run till the temp gets up then change over manually.
The latest issue is If I dont catch the warning light flashing and switch the gas off, It will stay on solid indicating fault code(s) logged, this seems to put the whole system into a "safety" mode and cuts power.
Whats I would like to know if anyone has an idea on how to reset fault codes without the hassle and expense of a Landy Dealer. (Does taking the negative off the battery reset?)
better still is there anyone in the North east who may be able to help me sort this issue out once and for all?:)

Not quite that simple I'm afraid, but you should be able to reset the faults with any standard obd compliant reader. A better idea would be to get the LPG system sorted, I would imagine it's running very lean and the engine ecu is reaching it's trimming limits therefore registering a fault and then going into safety to prevent damage.

Thanks Rewmer
I took advice from an LPG installer in Rochdale called Pioneer LPG who pretty much agreed with your diagnosis. He suggested removing the negative for 5 mins. This actually worked a treat, It reset the engine management light and seems to be running ok, probably due to the ECU resetting to default trims.
The acid test will be tomorrow morning starting from cold, fingers crossed
It even seems to have sorted the small issue I was having with the front and rear parking sensors acting intermittently, weird?
The next step is to have the gas serviced with filters etc and hopefully I shouldnt have any more issues :)
Thanks Again
