Hi all

The wife and I are after a Defender 110 Td5 (budget of £13k) and after being stung very badly by a "reputable" Land Rover Specialist up North on a TDi300 18 months ago I am feeling very nervous about buying again.

Can anyone recommend a reputable company in the Midlands area (you'd think there would be loads of them). We are fairly close to Coventry and would be happy to travel up to 100 miles. I went to see Liveridge and i thought they seemed really good but the online reviews about them seem to be a bit "marmite" with people either loving them or hating them.

Bought a 300tdi from said garage a number of years ago ......... Chassis filled and under sealed in many places couldn't prove it was them that done it . When checking mot history it had failed for severe chassis rot 2 weeks before I bought it with a new mot. hmmmmmm .....garage didn't want to know when challenged

Just a quick update, we've manged to find one at Foleys, bit more than what we originally planned to spend but it seems a good one...so deposit has been paid..
