Already typed half a book and I don't intend repeating it as the forum would not let me post it.
Crux is I will reprogramme and unlock BECM, disable alarm and immobiliser (If req'd) for £85 + post.
Secondly, unless proven wrong, best place for new keys..financially painfull as it is, is Main Stealer.
I have BECM's complete with locksets (Door,Ignition and glove box locks, key(S)0 available either locked or unlocked..your choice ready to plug & play.
I am fully aware of the "Mystique" that has been created around the BECM and services available from people who have the Rovacom BECM CPU module.
If you are in the UK there are several outlets open to you, e.g. Mtech and others who offer the service, just shop around.
I am in the same boat as yourself, have spent ££££'s keeping my P38 going in the past. The BECM is not rocket science providing you have the right software, don't let anyone tell you differently.
Regarding the replacement keys, personally...as painful as it may sound..and unless proven wrong, I would only buy keys from your Main Stealer..NEVER from Egay, they are unique and pre programmed by HUF in Germany.
I am not pushing my facilities, I don't have to. But wish to make you aware of the minefield out there.
This post is not meant in any way as a means to tout for business..I don't need to get work in this way, just as advice.:focus:
