Hey,

So I lost my only key for my freelander 1 changed over ecu and fuse boxes but then found my key so changed it all back with the battery disconnected. Now the back window has went down but it's not going back up I've calibrated it but still not going back up. When I'm driving it's saying the boot is open. I can't open it with the key either. Now my windows aren't working either. I phoned garages but they are so busy but they said maybe reprogramming the key trouble is I've only the manual key I don't have the key fob. Any ideas how to get it reprogrammed without the fob key

Doesn't sound like problems related to the key.

If the car thinks the back door is open, then it won't raise the window. You need to fix that and there's a lot of it about at the moment in different threads. Sensor is on the door opening actuator - easiest thing is a replacement actuator, don't know if you can just change the sensor.

Back window drops when battery is reconnected that is correct.
It is not possible to calibrate the window if it won't go up.
The key does not open the boot, it only raises the rear window (if it is working properly).
If all windows don't work then maybe you have left a feed off one of the fuse boxes or the CCU. Not sure why you changed over the fuse boxes ?!?!

If the CCU has been out. Not sure it is necessary, then that is where to look for the window and door faults first. Don't think we know for sure that the CCU is part of the security immobiliser. I think it isn't. But only because I have changed a CCU and it only affected the fobs.
