On a 95 Discovery is it possible to change the bulbs in the switches which are in the binnacle around the instruments? i.e. the rear windscreen washer + wiper switch and stereo control switches? Or do you have to replace the whole switch to get it to light up again?

It is possible to change them i did some a while ago but you might have a problem getting them i got some from a model shop but i had to get normal clear ones as thet didn't have the right colour but when i took the old bulbs out they had a plastic green sleave on them which i carefully removed and fitted them onto the new bulbs...Tony

Most of mine are out and as above they can be changed. I did pop into Land Rover Knutsford and they could order them for about a quid each.
So I've still got some out !

I found on mine that when you pull the switches out, the little bulb holder on a couple of them had rotated in the holder. Turned it back with an electrical screwdriver and a couple of them started working again.
You actually undo them about 1/4 or 1/2 turn to get the bulbs out.

Thanks, I'll have another look at them, sounds as if they should come out OK.
