Greetings my trusty '99 K series hippo is fitted with solid discs. Can I fit vented discs and the wider calipers on the original hub or will I need another hub? No ABS fitted (halelujah!)​

I will be towing so I want the brakes to be the best I can make them. Don't fancy using slots or cross drilled if I can fit the vents.

yes you can fit vented u need calipers and the pad carriers but you also need to fit wheel spacers as im sure the wheels wont fit without catching the caliper

i only new this because i was looking into it before my VCU died and took my IRD to heaven with it lol

I figured it would be expensive with new stuff but I'm surprised how reasonable they are. Do you have any idea what size spacer to use, just 'till my wallet stretches to the new wheels?

Wanted some alloys to replace the steel ones anyway but I have other bits to buy first - UMPH!

im afraid i dont no the size diff for sure but i think from read somewhere its bout 5mm but please dnt hold me to that
