Not to sure if this is the best idea or there is another way.
I bought an overheating disco 300tdi the other day as a bit of a project, changed head gaskets and water pumps etc before, so thought id have a crack at it.
The bloke I bought it of had been fiddling with the fuel pump, it over heated when towing..he then chucked a load of k-seal in it
so im not sure if the root of the problem is the fuel pump tweak (before i sort the head gasket etc) is there a way to reset it to factory? or is it easer to just replace the pump, i have one on an old disco as a donor.
Any ideas would greatly help..thanks
