Hi,
When you disconnect the pipe, the fluid reservoir will empty itself. Its not worth trying to save it, so best open the bleed nipple let it drain in a controlled manner. Its best if the slave is empty anyway. Pump pedal to make sure its all gone.
Replace pipe.
Fill reservoir to brim.
Open bleed nipple wide.
As soon as fluid starts to flow freely, close bleed nipple. Make sure reservoir does not get to low.
If you are lucky, that is all there is to it ...... on a SERIES clutch. Other vehicles MAY be more complicated. Yours MAY be more complicated. Brakes are DEFINITELY more complicated.
