Can anyone tell me how to replace the button pad on my P38 key fob.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers Pat

Yes, flick the old one out with a pointed item and press the new one in.

Is it that easy to replace the push buttons and battery?

No need to reset/re-programme key fob or anything? Only checking as I need to do mine but only got one key and don't have EKA code (note to self find out what it is and how I get it).

Get your EKA code before you change the batteries just in case. Local dealers with V5. They will give it you.

Wammers thanks.

Have a wee bag of bits to refurb but was holding off for some reason. Seeing that question made me understand why :)

Best to have to code to hand, but if you can change the batteries within a minute, the sync should remain!!

Changing the buttons can't do any harm. And 9 times out of 10 neither will changing the batteries. But there is always that once when it does not play with you. EKA code is a good thing to have on that occasion.
