Hi
I have a 2000 FL1 3 door hardback diesel currently fitted with standard 15" steel wheels which are looking a bit sad (nothing a rub down and respray wouldn't cure) I'm in need of two new tyres which will cost about £100.
I have the chance to change these for a set of used 5 x Freelander 1 (98-06) Six spoke Alloy Wheels with Tyres. They are 15" with Kumho Road Venture 195/15/100s. All good tyres. £125. Seems to make financial sense to buy the set of alloys and change the lot?
My question having read a few posts about alloys/wheel sizes on here is:
1. Should I change at all?
2. Will they fit ok?
Many thanks

Pre and post facelift differ slightly in Alloy size, make sure of the year. Steel rims fit all though.

It's not the face lift, it's the changes around 2000 (01MY?) when the introduced bigger brakes for the TD4/V6. Later wheel will fit earlier vehicles but nit viseversa.

Cheers

Blippie
