Afternoon - just trying to do some homework - I'm a little nervous that I might have to replace the cylinder head on my 200Tdi. I've not tried yet, but I suspect the glow plugs are seized in the cylinder head, and after a bad experience a few years back trying to remove some, I am thinking it might be safer to just replace the cylinder head.

I know of Turner Engineering, but they're on the £££ side of things - I've tried googling, but there doesn't appear to be anybody else selling a 200tdi cylinder head - does anyone know of another supplier?

Thanks in advance,

I do not think there is a 200 copy head available yet?

Any engineering shop will be able to get the glow plugs out of any head you present to them.

I have never had issues getting 200 glow plugs out, mainly as they are normally oily.

Ah that's reassuring, thank you. I'll give my usual land rover chap a shout and see if it's something he could help with, the main issue for me is I can't move my 110 atm, so I'd have to just take the cylinder head, which could be a faff (in conjunction with my stuck injector )

I thought a Spanish company did the heads the 200 and 300 series engines? AMC or Acm or something like that🤔
