Had a look under the 88 the other day and decided it was time the back floor was sorted. One support has rotted away completely, another is just rust, the other doesn't look like it will last another winter.
So far, managed to pull up the rear tailgate seal and what looks like a bodged carpet joiner on top of that.
Not shown in the pictures because we were too ****ed off and it was too dark was the three hours it took me and a helper to remove the roll bar, it's a mahoosive fecking thing with 10 M12x200mm bolts. I could hardly lift my pint this afternoon and the bloke who helped has a very funny shaped little finger after all the bar and hammer work.
More pics to follow, not sure about chequer plate but it should be a bit tougher than the original which I'd managed to dent and gash. The new foot wells are for the 109 project. The new tool box bits might end up on the 88 as its looking ready to scatter all my underseat belongings down the road at any point...
