In the title, is it possible to remove the rear tailgate glass and replace without breaking it?

I don't want to put a new complete tailgate on, but I want to take one cracked glass out and swap with another P38 I am breaking.

Is this possible and if so any tips or know how of doing it before?

Possible, but better getting windscreen company to do it. They are bonded in and you will possibly destroy the two side trims getting it off. If you break the glass doing it they are a snip at £465.00. If you do it yourself you will need some PU sealant.

Insurance claim? If you've got glass cover you could get a brand new one for your glass excess and it won't affect your no claims.
