Hi,
So I boug a used 2008 defender 90 a week ago and decided to have it checked by a LR specialist!
Holly crap, just to take a look at it and replace a door hinge and give me an idea of general condition.
I left it in the morning and when I picked it up and of day a 750euro bill was waiting for me!
WTF, and I thought these cars were really easy and inexpensive to fix, much less look at!
Looking for a new mechanic around Stockholm Sweden if anyone has suggestions.
But I love my car!
Just had to vent

They are cheap and easy to fix .. but not when you go to a dealer ..

Just collected my 02 disco from a paint shop In Roquetas de Mar spain had the ends of front bumper repaired and repainted (scratches) due to me not taking care, 1st class job man, did it between big jobs, 80 euros very impressed.

I'm guessing that as it needed a hinge .. they replaced all the doors too, and painted them to match!
