Hi all

I have now established what is wrong with my Disco 4 Suspension warning 'only normal height available' apparently it is the Air compressor not putting enough air through. The compressor is the AMK type for TV6 2010 disco, does anyone know the part number for the repair kit as I cannot afford the pump?

Just to double check I understand the Air compressor is under the Left hand rear door drivers side, can someone confirm that as well.

Many thanks as always

Yvonne

A replacment pump off the bay is approx £120 new granted chineaseiam but they work.
Your air drier needs new drying medium about a tenner

Check out this company.
They also do “how to” YouTube videos!

Plus 1 ^^^^

Also if I may plse add get some plumbers clear silicone grease for the O rings etc

If the silica beads inside the dryer has turned to dust it sometimes then goes around the system and into the 3 x valves blocks which can create big problems so catching it early is the best course of action

Then after completion u can test the psi output of the compressor via diagnostics which is really a must with these vehicles

There’s also an inlet compressor air filter that tucked away inside the side boot locker which is often over looked as if this blocks up the compressor can’t pull in clean air so in that instance will overheat the compressor or blow the fuse

Generally it stays quite clean unless the boot is often filled with items that can create a lot of dust

Hope that’s also useful
