Hi All
I have a reoccurring battery fault on my 67 series 2A, The battery would be fine and then i would go to start her and it would be dead. I traced the fault to the voltage regulator and she has run fine since (approx 4 weeks). Now i went out to her today and went to where i was going, when i went to start her she was dead and the earth from the top of the engine was hot. I have two earths on the engine, one from the cylinder head and another from the bell housing near the starter onto the chassis..
Can anyone advise me on what to check as i am running out of ideas, the dynamo is good i had that checked at the same time as the voltage regulator, could it be a cable earthing?
Cheers
Rob
