I have changed track rod ends many times on other cars and need to replace the ones on my 06 FL1 due to slight play on an advisory during the last mot.

I assume there is nothing I should be aware of regarding replacing them on a FL?

Only that the ends are handed and one screws on with a rh thread and the other a lh thread. I always measure the distancefrom rack end to track rod across the threads and fit back to same dimension then get tracking checked. A digital vernier makes this an easy job. Each track rod end will not turn until you loosen the 10mm lock screw. Good luck!
