I’ve managed to narrow down my abs issues to the modulator and have got hold of a decent s/h complete abs unit from a 2003 D2 - I want to try to just swap the valve module to start with as the faulty connection is with one of the outlet valves before changing the whole pump and bleeding brakes.

I’ve looked at the video from Atlantic British and it looks simple enough but on trying to remove the valve module from the “new” unit there seems to be something else holding the unit in aside from the 8 bolts??

it looks like 2 springs but I’m not sure if I should try harder to prize the module away from the pump or if there is another way that I’m missing?

Any suggestions?

The switch pack has to be removed prior of splitting the modulator then you can insist to prize it apart cos those ''plungers" which you see on the right side and the springs are going tight into the holes where the solenoids are if you see what i mean
