I've got a 2001 vouge with a broken sat nav. Does anyone know if I take the screen out is there a panel or something that will fit in its place?

Can you replace with a second hand unit?? I have one of the small screens somewhere (if thats the faulty part)

Its the cd drive in the back thats not working. £250 to repair is in my opinion not worth it when a tomtom with an up to date map is only £150. I Just want a neat dash

Fair comment....
Is the cd drive made by / labelled Philips?? (remember I'm not a P38 owner) I have a Philips drive from a sat nav installation knocking about. It has a small fan at rear.

It's not a Phillips the Part No is YIB100060.

Thanks for reply, sorry I can't help. There was a guy advertising a sat nav screen in another thread (via ebay), perhaps you could send a message to see if he has the cd drive.
Or you could indeed go the tomtom route....
