Evening all,

I just wondered if there was a knack to removing the rear propshaft. The one installed is a wide angle jobby, but I cannot for the life of me get a socket around them, and cannot get enough purchase on the nuts with a normal spanner.

Thanks all, will look at the prop tool, I tried both from underneath and from above via the access panel under the cubbybox.

I think the problem is that i cant get enough leverage on the damn thing.

under the cubbybox.

??

It is not difficult, a good quality socket, an extension and a ratchet.....or buy the prop tool.

Rotate the prop shaft, undo the nuts, remove the prop.................job done.

Cheers

Led on your back. Engage your core, lift your head off the ground and feel the burn...

See if you can remove all 4 without resting. Civvies pay for a work out like that!!

We lost a bloke tea time one morning, he had a bad cold when we started at 8:00.
First job was to take a diff out a foden tipper, found him after tea out cold under the diff.
Last he remembered was needing a big sneeze
