bought myself a v8 range rover last weekend and the bastardising process is coming along well. its been painted yellow and stickered up. lift kit and tyres ordered and my fave mod, a 4" rear silencer through the rear quarter. thing is its too quiet! it whistles slightly rather than burbles. do you think if i removed the large centre silencer it would be too loud? would i loose power? don't want too much bother off my local traffic cop! it gets kinda boring for him up here!
cheers guys and gals.

the designers spend a lot of money matching the exhaust system to the engine. almost certain you will get worse mpg and a lot more noise.
you may even actually loose power too.

just been looking in my demon tweeks catalogue. they do universal middle section boxes that should give it a bit more growl but hopefully not affect performance or be too loud that i'll be shaking old folks teeth out as i burble past em! dunno..... its a bit of a gamble chopping up a decent exhaust to find you have to weld the fecker back up again!
