On my recently purchased 2011 5L s/c Autobiography, one of the memory preset switches on the seat switch panel is upside down (No. 1). The button works fine but I would like to have it the right way round. I suspect the switch panel will have to be removed to do this. Does anyone know if this can be done without taking out the seat from the car?

If it's the same as the 2005 then yes but it is a pita. There's a screw or push in clip (can't remember which) at the back of the seat and lots of tabs that have to be bent at the same time.
As you can see from this one for sale on ebay a few of the tabs will probably break off.
Oh and they are about £150 which is why mine is still broke.:(

Hi and ditto, those fingers at the back will almost certainly break or bend the wrong way at some point of the process but there are some second hand panels with switch attached on the bay for £100+ So if you’re up for a challenge have a go. For me I’m of a mind that if one button is upside down then someone else has had the switch open because it wouldn’t have left the factory or dealership like that, so that panel has definitely been off before. Good luck with your quest.
Tricky :)

You can afford to lose a few of those tabs and still have enough left to secure the trim........ask me how I know :D
Looking at yours I would say that is a fairly new trim anyway so maybe someone has already had a go.

What about removing te seat and adjusting the tabs from behind. Maybe you can achieve the repair and keep the panel. ;)
