Noticed recently that on acceleration there is a regular, constant clicking..increases in time with speed..if i lift off slightly it disappears but as soon as i increase speed again it starts.

Prop seems fine, no loss in performance...just annoying clicking...like i had as a kid when i put a bit of cardboard on the forks of my bike and it hit the spokes of the wheel :D

Any ideas?
 
CV joint. Have you ever considered that what you have spent in repairs, coulda bought you a decent landy?:p:D
 
3 probably.

Dont sound like its coming from the wheel area though...more central.

You're going to have to be more specific Storm,

now is it a 'click' or a 'tick'?

A tick could be coming from the engine - does the noise change relative to engine speed or road speed?

Engine speed..as said, if i coast, the sound isn't as loud..as soon as i increase engine speed its very noticeable...

tick click its all the same to a deaf old git like me...
