Hi all bought the p38 knowing it needed regassing and the hevac repairing I repaired the hevac and now there is no check book sign could it be as simple as a regas ? I was expecting blend motors etc

If it needs a re-gas, odds on the condensor is leaking.

Lack of gas does not cause book to appear on Hevac.

It is if they put dye in with the refrigerant

Go to ****fit for a regas, I think, according to others, it's free if it leaks as they just do the vacuum test. If re-filled get them to put leak detector in with the gas.

Think most places pressure test it first
Not sure if mines a fault or needs a regas cos it blows cooler than air temp but by no mean cold

Went to Quickfit myself, they told me mine would not hold a vacuum and put a dye in they then said come back in a week or two

No charge at all

, I was watching them do it and the fitter actually wet and got the type of Oil as specified on the under bonnet sticker

if your near the Wirral pm me as I have all the basics for aircon, don't have the dye but got the rest, and i'll vac and pressure test it for u for free if that helps
