Hi all,
Sorry to ask but I cannot find a definitive answer in RAVE or my workshop manual in searches here or on the interweb.
Since the fuel hose between the filler-neck and the tank was replaced some little while ago I have had difficulty in passingwater fuel into the tank on fill-ups. The pumps (various filling stations) all keep shutting off as if there is a back-flow and the pump thinks my tank is full it isn't; (and this behaviour happens at all levels of the tank and whenever I try to put fuel in).
Refuelling wasn't like this before the hose was replaced, and I cannot find any references to a "vent-hose" that ensures no "blowback" when refuelling. I am stumped.
The replaced hose just went from the bottom of the filler neck assembly to the tank spigot, and there was nothing obvious in that area.
All help gratefully received.
