G Giraffe New Member May 23, 2010 #1 I've had to take off the belt on my 2007 transit defender. I did this by releasing the tensioner but I am now stuck on how to put it back on. The spring is so strong I can't seem to move it so that the belt or bolt goes on. Any suggestions?

G Giraffe New Member May 24, 2010 #2 Manage it to get it on, just a case of using a big spanner on the end of the arm and pushing it downwards to release the tension.
