Just picked up my new to me 300 discovery.
My wife drove it back so unfortunately I haven't had a good run in it yet.
The reason the mrs agreed to the purchases? The colour, she loves red, but I think I might have to break out some t-cut to try and bring it back to its former glory (or at least somewhere close to)!
All iv done is put some insa saharas on. I come from a Suzuki background and had a vitara that I used for green laning and the occasional pay and play but i was after something with a bit more space and bit more drive able (is that possible with a 4x4)?!
One thing I have noticed whilst I was trying to lock the car in the pouring rain was that the boot doesn't lock (it does shut and open) the internal lock push doesn't appear connected and the key although it turns the lock it doesn't physically lock it. Iv done a search on here and it appears a spring may well have come loose so I need to take the rear door card off to take a look I guess. Anyone else had this? All the reference I can find are the opposite where they can't open their boot!
