Great, jsut got this car in the past week and this happens. Hope this is not signs of things to come

Driving along the road at 40mph and teh red warning ACE light starts to flash and beep.:(

Pull over and have a look around and the suspension seems to be at the same hieght.

Get back in the car and start her up and the light does not come on.

Drive home without further issue.

Whats happening?

Hi you dont say how old the car is but if the ace red light has come on it means system shut down you will need to get it checked out on a computor to read the fault codes as it could be anything from an accelorometer to low pressure at ace pump so get it plugged in,tiga

Will do

Its a 2001 Discovery ES Auto.

What be happier if light had stayed on. More worried it went out after switching the engine back on after stoping.

Hi,

This is an old topic but i will give it a try.

I have the same problem, red light at hard turns, engine stop and start would make it go away.

Did you get a solution or this?

I have "low pressure" on the ace unit memory, but no leaks visible and now ace fluid lost.

Help please.

Faulty pressure sensor perhaps ?

Hi.
Where is the pressure sensor? :confused:in the valvule block? or are you refering an accelerometer or Pressure transducer or the Pressure control valve?

Notice that I have "low pressure error" and only red light after a turn and before stooping the engine.

I really think ACE just does not works at all because have never noticed it in action! Just the red light!
(I do not have a way to drive another td5 whit ACE...)

Regards.

I was just thinking out loud. If a fault was coming up regarding low pressure, my instinct would be to find the sensor that is triggering the fault and see if that (or the wiring to it) is causing the problem.

As to where the relevant sensor is located, you'll have to ask somone else. My own disco is a very basic 300tdi with not so much as an engine ecu let alone ACE or any newfangled exciting gadgets like that.
