Not bad but not a bargain either. The thing to remember is that certified lifting strops have a 7:1 safety margin built in. so a 1tonne lifting strop has a Breaking strain of 7tonne, 2tonne strops have a breaking strain of 14Tonne etc etc. So for general greenlaning recovery a 1tonne lifting strop is more than adequate. Always makes me laugh when someone gets a 8tonne (that's 56tonne breaking strain) strop out. & I wonder WTF they think they're gonna be recovering.

just found a place in stourbridge £15 for the strops but want £19 potage ffs, gonna av a look a m/m their not far away either
 
oh r sorry i missed ya today i left around 12, me mate asked me to appologise cos he couldnt talk cos he was with customer? think he got a little flustered

No probs we could see he was having fun...we have another engine now though. Did he get that spacer fitted?? We had to go back up and fetch a gearbox after too:D:D:D
 
oh r, he mentioned that...the plate was fitted in front of the spacer, defeats the object of the spacer :doh: we get alsorts in that yard... had a pole turn up without a tow ball so i sold him mine off me mota lol and anuther pole who turned up with half a towbar and no electrics and he asked if we could sort his leccys out for him... we told him we aint qualified to mess with leccys :D he was outside 2 and half hours feckin about with em rofl
