Hi All,
Rebuilt my engine after my first subject on this forum, made it 106 Miles and my Turbo went (I had another Runaway Engine but managed to stall it this time to save the engine).
I replaced the Turbo with a used One, out on test run and engine started to seize - turns out the return pipe on the top of the radiator had broken off without me noticing - new Radiator installed.

So, I have had a run of bad luck.

The 'Used' Turbo went today, I caught it before it blew its self apart and limped home (Had a car full of kids expecting a Fireworks Show - In Great Yarmouth) - had some very unhappy people onboard :(

This 'Used' One is within warranty so I expect to get my cash back tomorrow.

To the point:

Where is a good place to buy a 'Reconditioned' Turbo: PMF100490 ?

I have found a chap on eBay in Germany, £222 and £84 deposit until they receive my old Turbo (the Original One I had).
Hoping you folks here can point me in the right direction.

To top it all off I have just moved house so need the car and have no time to fix it :(

I have a 1998 2.0 TD xedi but you probably know that from the part number above.

If it's an L series turbo, I've got a nearly-new one I've taken off my hippo if it's of use? Was only on for <3000 miles

Thanks GreyHair but DastardlyDan has kindly sold me his Turbo.
While we are on the subject though, how can I verify that the Turbo is getting a good supply of oil ? I have taken the banjo bolt off and turned it over and the oil is flowing very well in that situation but I'm wondering if there is a another way which I havent thought of?

doing that should ensure it's being fed nicely - the next thing to really do, is remove the drain, and make sure it's not being restricted with gunge. Not the nicest of jobs I'm afraid
